Crafted from non-endangered Hardrock Maple with Black Walnut trim, these handsome containers are fashioned in an architectural style with fine hand-worked detailing and natural finishes. The design is completed with a laminated wood circle, either in a Yin Yang or Mandala pattern, using the same wood types as the main box. The Hardrock Maple lid is set off by Black Walnut buttons on each of its four corners.
The lid fits securely into the box with wooden pegs that disappear once closed. The bottom is equipped with felt pads to prevent scratching. Because each container is cut from individual pieces of wood, the grains and coloration will vary slightly, giving each piece its own distinctive personality. |
